Is coaching like counselling or therapy?

No. Coaching is neither counselling nor therapy. I don’t dig into the past for answers; I don’t try to "fix" you in any way.

How long is a coaching programme supposed to last?

As long as you want! I recommend a minimum of three sessions. Some clients want a longer term programme; it depends on the issues.

Does telephone coaching work? Surely you have to be face-to-face with your clients?

Yes, telephone coaching really works well. Most people find that telephone coaching feels very confidential and personal. You’ll find it is also really convenient. No need to spend time and money travelling to an appointment.

How can coaching help me with my career? Is it a practical thing?

My company is paying for my personal development. What model of coaching do you use?

I have been trained in the Co-Active Coaching model. This is the preferred model for large organisations like Marriott, Prudential, Boeing, and IBM when training their managers as coaches. I also use the GROW model which most managers have heard of. I am happy to discuss my coaching model with your line manager. Please also email me for my corporate Tariff of Fees.

What if coaching doesn’t work for me? Can I have my money back?

I have never found one single client in all the years that I have been coaching that could honestly say "it didn’t work for me". I guess it’s the old adage "You get out what you put in". Fees are non-refundable, so take advantage of a free consultation to be certain that coaching is right for you.
